South By Southwest Interactive is done and gone but its parties, shows and other gatherings will live on, immortalized by more than 1 million tweets from around the world.
A new infographic from the team at Synthesio examined how many tweets were sent about the event.
The study examined not only the number of tweets but also where those tweets came from. While a vast majority of SXSWi chatter originated in the United States (71 percent), the UK and Canada managed to rack up 4.6 percent and 4.4 percent of the conversation.
While other countries couldn’t compare in terms of SXSWi chatter the event did draw responses from more than 200 countries that tweeted in more than 19 languages.

Twitter is on a question to determine how valuable our tweets are and if this study is any indication the question to ask might be “how valuable is a users tweets based on specific events.”
Are you surprised by the US dominance of SXSWi tweets or has SXSW pretty much become a showcase for American innovation?
