There’s so much hype surrounding the new Star Wars movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, that there’s even hype surrounding an announcement for the first trailer.
A trailer for the new movie will be shown to moviegoers on Friday. According to Cnet, the trailer will make its debut at nine theaters across the United States. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer will be shown before all movies at this select group of theaters between November 28 and November 30.
Here are the nine movie theaters that will be playing the trailer this Friday.
- Irvine, CA – Edwards Irvine Spectrum 22 & IMAX
- San Diego, CA – Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX
- Atlanta, GA – Regal Atlantic Station Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX
- Chicago, IL – Regal City North Stadium 14 IMAX & RPX
- New York, NY – Regal Union Square Stadium 14
- Warrington, PA – Regal Warrington Crossing Stadium 22 & IMAX
- Knoxville, TN – Regal Pinnacle Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX
- Houston, TX – Edwards Houston Marq’E Stadium 23 IMAX & RPX
- Seattle, WA – Regal Thornton Place Stadium 14 & IMAX
Only nine theaters will be showing the trailer this Friday but it is possible that Disney and Regal Entertainment add a few more locations to the list this holiday season. If you don’t live near one of these theaters, or if you don’t want to spend $15 to see a two minute trailer, you’ll have to wait until the trailer drops online. Disney has not scheduled a release date for the trailer yet.
