Social media platform Wayin is being employed by the St. Louis Rams. The company will help the sports franchise increase engagement between fans, players, and the media.
In beginning its new engagement efforts Wayin has created a three-party online hub at Stlouisrams.com/social. The hub pushes out team updates, news, player stats, and fan pictures.
The social platform also aggregates Twitter and Instagram posts for the hashtags #Showtime and #RamsOpener
With the Wayin partnership the St. Louis Rams are also asking fans poll questions on Twitter. Answers from polling then show up on the hub.
Wayin setup page links that include “Rams, Media, and Team.”
On its new media page articles are featured from the likes of ESPN, NBC Sports, the St. Louis Dispatch, and others.
The “Team” page aggregates social posts from the social accounts of team athletes.
The St. Louis Rams are not the first to use Wayin’s hub system. Other NFL teams using the platform include the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons.
