Facebook is host to millions of pages, and according to recent data from Socialbakers, the fashion industry has some of the strongest communities on the social network.
A social media analytics platform, Socialbakers analyzed 5000 user posts on brand pages across all industries between July 23, and August 23.
The top three industries were fashion, auto, and e-commerce, in that order.
Findings were divided between total interactions, total likes, and total comments.
When it came to total interactions, fashion had 2,088,649, auto had 1,890,556, and e-commerce 1,471,704.
Fashion was just under two million likes with 1,995,892, auto came in at 1,644,380, and e-commerce 1,407,879.
While significantly fewer than total likes, fashion-related Facebook pages had almost 208,000, auto had just under 69,000, and e-commerce 58,214 comments.
According to Socialbakers, sharing among these top three industries was not as popular compared to fast-moving consumer goods, non-profit, and travel pages.
Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) saw almost 280,000 shares, non-profits saw 204,000 shares, and travel Facebook pages 187,371.
