Social App LIVR Only Logs You In If You’re Drunk

LIVR

A new mobile social network called LIVR doesn’t want you if you’re sober, and requires users to take a breathalyzer test before granting them access.

The app, available for Android and iOS, comes included with a small breathalyzer that plugs into your phone’s USB connector.

After firing up LIVR, users must blow in to the breathalyzer, and will only be logged in if they’ve got enough of a buzz going.

The social network is geared towards drinkers obviously, and helps you find bars, popular spots where other users are and see specials.

To make things more entertaining, users can play a crowdsourced game of truth or dare that will earn them points, and “Drunk Dial.”

With the Drunk Dial feature, LIVR connects you to a random user who, if you hit things off, could meet up to do totally responsible things.

One downside of having access to any communications device while intoxicated is seeing what your drunken self said or posted the next day.

LIVR has you covered with its “Blackout” button that deletes your entire session for that night, and can even email you what you were up to in the event you’ll likely forget.

We’ve officially reached the peak of innovation, and LIVR is expected to launch this Spring with pricing for its plug-in breathalyzer to be announced at a later date.
