We’ve got to hand it to the folks at GoPro – they know that their cameras can make for some pretty awesome viral videos.

Seriously, we’re not trying to sell GoPros or anything, it’s just true. These practically indestructible cameras have taken us through wave tunnels with surfers, paragliding over canyons, biking on extreme and dangerous paths, BASE jumping, sky-diving, through a day in Superman’s life, you name it.

Pretty innovative social media marketing, if you ask us.

So what doe GoPro do with their latest viral video offering? Do they throw a weighted camera off the Empire State Building to simulate a free fall? Let a lion swallow one to simulate being eaten a live? Toss one into a volcano to see how deep the lava goes?

Nah. They jump into the ocean and rub a seal’s belly.

But it’s cute.
