Selfeed: Every #Selfie From Instagram In One Place

If you love to heart selfies on Instagram you should pay a visit to the social media website Selfeed. Selfeed is a never ending torrent of self portraits each tagged with the #selfie hashtag on the popular photo sharing app.

The full screen onslaught of faces is a great way to waste a little time. This guy spent an entire 5 minutes watching strangers pop up on his laptop before he grew tired.

Developers Tyler Madsen, Erik Carter, and Jillian Mayer say that Selfeed was designed to be neutral. There’s no time to rate each photo, but plenty of time to judge.

They say there are trends, but I found them hard to distinguish in my brief flirtation with Selfeed.

The site functions in real time with each self portrait flashing for no more than a beat. It reminds me of using Snapchat with the one second timer. Remember kids, screenshotting is a well-practiced art. Don’t photograph anything stupid because you believe it goes away.

Some of the flashing photos are ultra-zoomed and hard to decipher where others are charming shots of smiling human beings. Sit back and watch the faces roll in because there’s no time for the like button at Selfeed.
