Rude Bride Explains Why You Weren’t Invited To Her Wedding

Did you get an invitation to this woman’s wedding? Don’t worry, you probably didn’t want to go anyway. A new bride recently posted a Facebook message to all of her “friends” that weren’t invited to her wedding. The goal was to make sure that no one was “but hurt” about not getting invited.

Well, that backfired. The entire internet seems to be “butt hurt” by the woman’s post.

The bride writes: We are sending out invites for the wedding this week. Going through the list of people to invite. We only have so much room at the church and reception. I’m going to try and make this as simple as possible so no one gets butt hurt. If you do not get an invite here is a list of potential reasons why.

A screenshot of the Facebook post was shared earlier this week on reddit by someone (we’re assuming) who was not invited to the wedding.

Some of the reasons on this list seem justifiable but why does this bride need to shove it in people’s faces like this? Do you really need to make a point to tell people that you aren’t really friends? Do you really think that they care? If you don’t hang out outside of work are they really expecting an invitation? Not only is this Facebook post rude, it’s also a little delusional.

We’re guessing that some of the people who didn’t get invited to this wedding have their own “reasons why I’m not coming to your wedding” list.
