Quadruple Stabbing Reported After Broncos-Chargers Game

Denver Broncos Quadruple Stabbing

Four people were stabbed on Thursday night following the Denver Broncos’ loss to the San Diego Chargers. The Denver Police Department announced the quadruple stabbing on Twitter, saying, “#BREAKING: DPD on scene of a quadruple stabbing at Sports Authority Field. 1 party in critical condition.”

The police department soon called off the search for any new suspects, writing:

CBS 4 Denver’s Mark Neitro captured a photo of the incident scene and ABC 7 News’ Brian Ferbuson captured a vine of the cordoned off parking lot.

It isn’t known whether the stabbing was a result of the game or an unfortunate coincidence stemming from problems that were unrelated to the game. USA Today notes that multiple suspects were in custody after the stabbing and eyewitnesses reported seeing fights at the scene.

Thursday’s incident was the second time in three weeks that police responded to an incident outside a Broncos game. Two weeks ago, a man died after an altercation in the parking lot outside Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
