It isn’t known whether the stabbing was a result of the game or an unfortunate coincidence stemming from problems that were unrelated to the game. USA Today notes that multiple suspects were in custody after the stabbing and eyewitnesses reported seeing fights at the scene.
Thursday’s incident was the second time in three weeks that police responded to an incident outside a Broncos game. Two weeks ago, a man died after an altercation in the parking lot outside Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
