Are you ready for a new Prince album? The rock legend will be releasing two new albums next month.
One album will be a solo alum titled “Art Official Age.” The second album, which was record with his all-female band, 3rdEye Girl, will be called “Plectrum Electrum.” Both albums will drop on September 30. You can pre-order your copy here.
3rdEye Girl made the announcement this morning on Good Morning America.
The band said: “It’s such an incredible learning experience. Everyone knows the genius of Prince, so to be able to be hands-on on a daily basis, playing with the best musicians in the world and becoming a family. We’re really tight and it makes the music that much better because it comes through.”

This is Prince’s first solo album since 2010 when he released the album “20Ten.”
Cameron Strang, chairman of Warner Bros., said: “For the past 35 years, he has never stopped evolving, challenging himself, reinventing his sound, and pushing boundaries. In true Prince fashion, he has just given us not one, but two extraordinary albums that express the incredible range and depth of his talent.”
The press release teased a few global events to promote the new album but a tour has not been officially announced.
