Parents were a little surprised this Christmas when their children opened up Play-Doh’s Cake Mountain toy and grabbed a hold of what appeared to be a big plastic penis.
Angry parents have been complaining on Play-Doh’s Facebook page for awhile now but the complaints really picked up after Christmas. Most of the complaints were accompanied by a photo of the extruder, AKA icing maker, AKA big plastic dildo, and most of those photos are being immediately deleted by the company.
Of course, what goes on the internet stays on the internet.
I dunno if anyone else follows Play-Doh on Facebook but you should cause they’re doing some serious damage control pic.twitter.com/TooleS5PgE

This isn’t the first time that Hasbro has been made aware of the phallic shaped toy. Back in November the company issued a statement saying that it was aware of the problem and was working on a solution:
“We have heard some consumer feedback about the extruder tool in the Play-Doh Cake Mountain play set and are in the process of updating all future Play-Doh products with a different tool.”
The replacement didn’t come in time for Christmas, however, which meant that thousands of parents across America probably had an uncomfortable conversation with their children this holiday season.
