Forget the oft-demanded “dislike” button! Televangelist Pat Robertson wants a “Vomit” button so everyone can know exactly how he feels about all those gay kissy-face photos you’re putting up these days.
The 83-year-old 700 Club host has long been beyond “what did he just say?” shock-and-awe, and well into “oh, that’s just Pat Robertson” for some time. Though pretty much everything he says, offensive or not, elicits more laughter than anger, he still pulls a fast one on us from time to time.
To wit, a caller pushed Robertson into moral social media behavior recently (read: Not his wheelhouse) with a question about “liking” Facebook posts. Specifically, if one “likes” a photo or post from a gay friend, is it the same thing as condoning “immoral” behavior?
Enter Pat Robertson:
“You’ve got a couple of same-sex guys kissing. Do you like that? Well, that makes me want to throw up. To me, I would punch ‘Vomit,’ not ‘Like,’ but they don’t give you that option on Facebook.”
Pat Robertson aside, a “Vomit” button wouldn’t be such a bad idea …
