Did Paris Hilton really just attribute Martin Luther King Jr’s “I have a dream speech” to Nelson Mandela? No, no she didn’t.
The tweet made waves earlier today on Twitter but it wasn’t sent by Hilton. Paris was actually on a plane at the time…
Taking off to Miami! #LifeOfAJetSetter 😉 Loves it

… and didn’t know about Nelson Mandela’s death until a few minutes ago.
Just landed heard the sad new about Nelson Mandela. He was a true Hero the world is a better place because of him. May he rest in peace. — Paris Hilton (@ParisHilton) December 5, 2013
Shortly after Paris heard about the sad news, she also heard that someone was passing around a disrespectful and fake tweet attributed to her.
Whoever made that stupid fake tweet lacks respect to the loss the world is mourning right now. Same goes for all the blogs who ran with it.

After a little investigating, it was revealed that the tweet was photoshopped by the account @deletedtweets. The message has been deleted from the account but screen caps of the image are still floating around the internet.
So, when you see this image again…
… don’t blame Paris Hilton. The musician / model / reality TV star had nothing to do with that disrespectful and idiotic message.
