This summer Taco Bell is opening a pop-up hotel for a limited time in Palm Springs, California. Take a moment to digest that all the way.
The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort will be an absorbent experience designed to pamper and celebrate the world’s biggest fanatics of the fast-food guru. “We’re already in the hospitality business,” Taco Bell Chief Brand Officer Marisa Thalberg spoke to reporters. “This is a more immersive form of hospitality where people can really soak up the experience of the brand in a destination.” And from the look of things, there will much to soak up. Though the critical details are still in manifestation mode, guests at the hotel can expect the whole hotel to be “infused with a Taco Bell twist,” including a gift shop with boatloads of swag, Taco “Bell”hops to haul your luggage to-and-from your Taco Bell-inspired room, and poolside cocktails.
Like any decent hotel, The Bell will too consist of extra services, like an on-site salon offering a braid bar, fades and Taco Bell nail art. Because who doesn’t desire tacos on your nails while consuming the tacos in your hands? “It will be playful, but absolutely one of the most legitimate, fun, cool hotel experiences one can have,” stated Thalberg. Undoubtedly, there will be food, including the throwbacks we all know and adore, plus “new menu surprises only available at the hotel.” And if that ain’t enough, everyday there will be saucy snacks and “happier hour” to keep guests hyped for the taco lunacy.
In June reservations for The Bell: Taco Bell Hotel and Resort will open, however specific dates are yet to be announced. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. The hotel is presently scheduled to open Aug. 9, 2019. “I hope that the fans that are the lucky ones to grab a reservation will feel like they have long-term bragging rights,” said Thalberg. To remain up-to-date and for further information, go to the hotel’s website. And for ones seeking to reserve a slot at this “tacoasis,” may the Diablo sauce be forever on your side.
