New Jersey’s Governor Chris Christie reached out to Justin Bieber the Jonas Brothers, Bruce Springsteen, and other celebrities to ask for Hurricane Sandy relief help.
It appears that Christie understands the power of Twitter and celebrities when it comes to spreading a good cause. Christie tweeted a message to Bieber about the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.
.@justinbieber my girls are big fans. Will u help us spread the word about NJReliefFund? For more info: tinyurl.com/anufbos #WeWillRebuild

Bieber responded to the New Jersey Governor in a tweet that has received more than 34,485 retweets and 19,848 favorites, as of Wednesday night.

Along with Justin Bieber, Governor Chris Christie also appealed to New Jersey natives the Jonas Brothers, Kelly Ripa, and Bruce Springsteen, asking them to spread the message about the relief fund for hurricane battered New Jersey.
The Red Cross has been working in the state, along with others on the East Coast affected by Sandy, to provide services to those affected by the massive storm.
The cast of Jersey Shore is working with the nonprofit organization Architecture for Humanity for “Restoring the Shore,” a benefit that will air live on November 15. The city the show is filmed in, Seaside, was decimated by Hurricane Sandy. Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino also noted last week that people wanting to contribute can text “REDCROSS” to 90999 and donate $10 for hurricane relief.
