Have you noticed an influx of boobs on Twitter today? Yep, the women of the Twitterverse are uniting to celebrate National Cleavage Day.
Seriously, National Cleavage Day is a real thing. It has it’s own website, it’s own wikipedia page, and apparently a loyal following of social media users.
As I’ve only just been informed… Happy national cleavage day perverts!!!! twitter.com/Pix_Moore/stat…

The holiday was started by, you guessed it, WonderBra, as a way to exploit celebrate feminism.
WonderBra writes on its website: “Now it’s not like we need an excuse to celebrate cleavage, but Wonderbra’s National Cleavage Day means that once a year, we have an official reason to make the most of our assets! Today is National Cleavage Day, an annual celebration created by Wonderbra in 2002. We view this as a day for women to acknowledge that their cleavage is something unique and encourage you all to be proud of it.”
And there are several Twitter users who are proud of it.

Surprisingly, this isn’t the only day of the year that celebrates cleavage. In addition to National Cleavage Day, there’s also the annual Cleavage Appreciation Day. It may sound like they’re the exact same holiday but one is sponsored by a company while the other just exists for no apparent reason. The difference is subtle.
