Mark Ruffalo’s Twitter account is full of charitable acts. He’s always posting about a fundraiser or a rally or a petition that he believes will better the world. Well, Ruffalo was on the receiving end of a charitable deed for a change this week when a Twitter user returned his wallet.
@Trezeduet thank you! Wow! Another point for the decency in people.

Ruffalo was in Chicago for a Nascar race. The actor, who is a big supporter of alternative engery, was the grand Marshall at the Chicagoland Speedway. He also sponsored Leilani Munter’s Solar No. 66 Toyota in the ARCA race.
“What we want to say to people and what she is a perfect example of is you know we really don’t have to give up anything. You don’t have to give up NASCAR because we’re moving to a carbon-free structure and infrastructure of carbon-free energy environment. You can still have those things.”
At some point during the weekend Ruffalo was in cab and accidentally left his wallet behind. That’s where Twitter user Trezeduet stepped in.
@Trezeduet You are a hero!
