Carrie Fisher may claim that Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo are returning for the new Star Wars movie but Mark Hamill hasn’t heard too much about the Episode 7 cast yet.

The actor did a Reddit AMA today and told the crowd that he hasn’t officially joined the cast. Hamill said that he “wasn’t being coy” and that he truly didn’t know if he would be involved in the new movie.

Hamill said: “I’m not being coy, really. When I find something out, I’ll let everybody know. But nothing has been decided yet.”

Mark Hamill doesn’t know if he’ll be involved in Star Wars: Episode 7 but he did say that one of his old friends would be making an appearance in the new movie. That friend is R2D2.

Hamill said: “The only character I know for sure is returning is my friend R2-D2. He hasn’t stopped beeping about it.”

Rumors have been circulating recently that Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill would reprise their roles for Episode 7 before handing the reigns over to their successors. Abrams said earlier this week that he had finished the script but he didn’t reveal too many details about the plot.
