Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy was very Spock like on Tuesday when he took to Twitter to voice his support for immigration reform.
In notes addressed to the members of Congress Nimoy recalls his time growing up as the child of an immigrant barber in Boston, Massachusetts.
Each of Mr. Spock’s tweets were signed with his trademark sign-off “live long and prosper.”
Here are Leonard Nimoy’s tweets in support of immigration reform:
Is it possible we’ll get immigration reform ? Done in the Senate. Up to the house to get millions out of the shadows. LLAP

My Dad was an immigrant barber. I sold newspapers, washed dishes, drove a taxi, cleaned animal cages. You work your way up. LLAP

Now if only the members of Congress would live by the “live long and prosper” motto for all citizens of our planet.
