Katt Williams is back in the news. Unfortunately, it’s for a pretty scary reason. The comedian reportedly threatened a heckler at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, Williams was not performing at the time of the incident. He was “milling around” the Comedy Story when a heckler started talking trash about the comedian’s height and race.
Williams reportedly “went nuts” and pulled a gun on the heckler.
Someone called 911 after the incident and several cop cars raced to the scene. The officers reportedly had their guns drawn outside of the store expecting some sort of confrontation with Williams. The comedian, however, was gone by the time they arrived.
Williams has not been arrested and so far an arrest warrant has not been issued.
Katt Williams was involved in several bizarre incidents last summer (including a high-speed scooter chase) but the comedian has managed to keep his name out of the headlines until now. Its a shame because Williams was finally starting to get his career back in order.
Katt Williams has not commented on the Comedy Store incident yet. Police are investigating the incident but they have not issued a warrant for his arrest yet.
