Karan Brar (born 18 January 1999) is an American actor of Indian origin. He is well known for his major role as Ravi Ross in the series “Jessie” on the Disney channel and its subsequent spinoff Bunk’d.

In the Wimpy Kid feature film franchise, ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid,’ he also gained prominence for his role as Chirag Gupta.
In Redmond, Washington DC, he was born. Jasbinder Brar and Harinder Brar are his parents, and they are of Indian descent. Karan has its origins in the state of Punjab in India. With a touch of an American accent, he speaks fluent English, Hindi, and Punjabi. He has an older sister, Sabreena. He was brought up with his sister and a caring family in Bothell, Washington.
He studied acting at the John Robert Powers and Patti Kalle’s workshops and attended Cedar Wood Elementary School.
He started his acting career at 11 years old, starring as Indian middle schooler Chirag Gupta in the comedy movie “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”(2010).
He then reprised his role as Chirag Gupta in the feature film “Dairy of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Roles:” in March 2011. And in October 2011, it was announced that for the third installment of the Wimpy Kid series, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Day,” he would also be reprising his role as Chirag.

Biography of Karan Brar
On August 3, 2012, the film was released. He acted in several movies then. Chilly Christmas (2012), Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014), Pacific Rim: Rebellion (2018), Stargirl (2020), The Case (2020), Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018),
Halloween, Huide (2020). He participated in the Seeds of Compassion promotional campaign in April 2010, announcing the visit of the Dalai Lama to Seattle, as well as appearing in Shell Gasoline and Children’s Committee ads.
