Director James Mangold knows people are anxious to see some footage from his upcoming superhero flick The Wolverine. To keep the masses happy until a proper trailer finally finds its way online, the filmmaker posted a quick six-second teaser on Twitter.
In short, the so-called “tweazer” is essentially just a bunch of random images edited together. Look closely and you might see a familiar face or two.
The six-second teaser for The Wolverine is just the tip of the cinematic iceberg. Mangold promises a 20-second teaser trailer tomorrow. The trailer is expected to arrive on Wednesday.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. In addition Hugh Jackman, the film stars Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, and Brian Tee.
The Wolverine opens in theaters across the US on July 26.
