Interviewly Cleans Up Reddit AMAs For Easier Reading

Here at Social News Daily, we take a special approach to Reddit AMAs, digging down for the most interesting, controversial, or otherwise notable quotes — but a new site called Interviewly has a slightly different tactic.

Interviewly expressly publishes the discussion from Reddit AMAs, framing the whole of Reddit as the “interviewer,” and the AMA OP as the “interviewee.” Seasoned Redditors should have no problem clicking around to get the full picture of any one AMA, but sometimes this can be a pain in the ass — like on a phone, or if you just want the straight highlights.

Interviewly makes AMAs look like a magazine Q&A with the notable party behind any Reddit AMA. It isn’t nearly comprehensive, nor is it a great one-stop if you want to see all of what happened in a given AMA. But for a brief TL;DR, Interviewly can give you a summary of notable AMAs.

On Interviewly’s “about” page, the people behind the site explain:

“Reddit is great, but the format isn’t conducive to interviews (so AMA’s end up a bit ugly and hard to follow). I’ve cleaned them up a bit, added photos, ordered the questions chronologically, and broken them into categories. For now, I’ve focused on the interviews of well-known people, but that may expand in the future.”

So while Interviewly won’t get you the more interesting, non-celeb AMAs many Redditors love, you can catch up on the big names by following the site on Twitter.
