…more of us than dudes, in fact. If your Facebook feed is spammed with VariousVille updates from your mom, girlfriend and aunts, it’s probably no surprise that females outnumber men in the social gaming space.

The infographic below hashes out the demographics of social media in a stunningly visual way- dropping such knowledge as the fact that one in five Americans has played social games on the internet, and 35% of those users aren’t gamers otherwise. And while women play social games more often and more frequently with real-life contacts, men are more likely to play with strangers. (Another example of safety fears of women using social media?)
