Are you sick of Idina Menzel’s voice yet? Well, at least she’ll be singing a different song at the Super Bowl. The “Frozen” singer will perform the US National Anthem at the Super Bowl on February 1, 2015.
Menzel made the announcement on her Facebook page.
Menzel is best known by many as the voice behind that really catchy / really annoying song “Frozen” but she is also a major Broadway star. She is currently starring in If/Then, which runs until March, but she’ll be making a little pit stop at Phoenix Stadium for the country’s biggest televised event.
Of course, Menzel won’t be the only act performing at the Super Bowl. It was also announced that John Legend, who recently won a Golden Globe for his song in the movie Selma, will be singing “America The Beautiful.”
And the very smooth John Legend of @ChrissyTeigen fame will be singing America the Beautiful at Super Bowl. Almost to the 2-week countdown!

Once Idina Menzel and John Legend are done singing, and we watch a little football, Katy Perry will take the stage for the Halftime show.
Do you think Idina Menzel was a good choice for the “Star Spangled Banner?”
