Hugh Jackman may seem invincible on the big screen, but even the top actors needs to wear sunscreen. For the third time in under a year, Hugh Jackman was reportedly been diagnosed and treated for skin cancer.
Jackman’s rep told E! News that the 46-year-old actor has been for basal cell carcinoma and that the X-Men star is “all good” now. Hugh posted a photo to Instagram that said “Everyone is free to wear sunscreen” yesterday. The overflow of support from his fans are evident in his Instagram comments.
Hugh Jackman was diagnosed back in May of this year and even posted a photo to Instagram about it after being diagnosed for a second time. In the caption he urges everyone to wear sunscreen, no matter what.
He was diagnosed and treated for the same cancer back in November of 2013, all three cancers reportedly taken from his nose. Basal Cell Carcinoma is easily treated but without treatment and awareness, it could leave behind a disfigurement.
As Hugh Jackman says, “PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!”
