Happy Columbus Day! Maybe… Millions of Americans around the country are thankful to have a day off of work today but some aren’t too happy about the reason. The hashtag #HappyColumbusDay has been trending all morning but most of the messages aren’t celebrating the famous explorer.

Columbus Day may still be a national holiday but several states have decided to stop celebrating the famous explorer. Seattle, for instance, recently decided to rename the holiday Indigenous Peoples Day.
