Stanton, 24, was in the middle of his best season. He had 37 home runs and 105 RBIs before taking an 88 mph fast ball to the face on Thursday.
Stanton’s injury looks pretty gruesome but he seems to be recovering pretty quickly. There is a possibility that he returns sometime before the end of the season.
