Fans of the show Friends will be able to get a cup of coffee this fall at a real life Central Perk.
Joey, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe, Rachel and Ross spent a lot of time at the fictional coffee shop during their time on Friends and now fans can do the same. Warner Bros. is partnering with Eight O’Clock Coffee to build a pop-up Central Perk location in downtown Manhattan this September to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the hit show.
Could we be anymore excited?
Entertainment Weekly reports that Central Perk will open up at 199 Lafayette Street in downtown Manhattan on September 17. If you want to check out the Friends coffee shop you’ll have to hurry because the store will only be open until October 18.
If you do get a chance to visit Central Perk, you can expect free coffee from Eight O’Clock Coffee, musical performance (they will be playing Smelly Cat) and appearances from some of the show’s stars like James Michael Tyler, who played Gunther.
Eight O’Clock Coffee will also be releasing a special Central Perk blend which will be available nationwide.
Are you going to visit Central Perk? What was your favorite Friends moment from the coffee shop?
