Flipboard, dubbed as the world’s first social magazine, now has 85 million registered users which is up from 75 million in July 2013.
John Doerr, venture capitalist at Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers, broke the news during a chat onstage at TechCrunch Disrupt SF.
John is also on the social reader’s board of directors, and an official spokesperson confirmed the latest figure.
Since Flipboard 2.0 was released back in March bringing the ability to create your own magazine, over three million magazines have been created.
Founded in December 2010, Flipboard has raised a total of $60.5 million, and is valued at $200 million.
