Felipe Massa is a Brazilian racing driver (born 25 April 1981). He is a two-time Formula One World Championship runner-up.

The Brazilian driver Felipe has raced in Formula One for Williams, Ferrari, and Sauber. He has placed second in the Formula One World Championship twice and won 11 Grands Prix. In 2008, he was only one point short of Lewis Hamilton in the championship race.
At the age of eight, Massa began racing go-karts. His success in closed-wheel racing led him to an open-wheel competition, where he won the Formula Renault 2.0 Brazil title in 2000. He left the United States the next year to race in the Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup in Europe. In his rookie season, he not only finished first in the competition but also third in the Formula Three Euroseries.
Massa debuted in Formula One in 2002, driving for the Sauber team. His first podium finish came at the 2004 Hungarian Grand Prix, and his first victory came at the 2006 Turkish Grand Prix. Massa started racing for Ferrari in 2006, and in both 2007 and 2008, he finished in second place.
Massa recovered and returned to competition after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a racing accident at the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix. After leaving Williams for a while, he came back in 2014 and is still competing for them.
