It’s going to be an exciting year for The Simpsons. In addition to a Futurama crossover next season, the iconic yellow family will also be getting a visit from Peter Griffin and the rest of Family Guy.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the Family Guy, Simpsons crossover will be the season premiere on September 28. The episode, called “The SImpsons Guy,” will be about the Griffins accidental trip to Springfield. Homer and Peter will bond over doughnuts but their friendship may be destroyed over an argument about beer. Is Duff Beer the best beer in the world? What about Pawtucket Patriot Ale?
Bob from Bob’s Burger is also set to make an appearance.
The Family Guy, Simpsons crossover will be an hour long so hopefully Peter do more than drink beer and eat donuts.
The Simpsons have been on the air for more than 25 years now. The comedy has hit a few lulls during its runs but recent episodes have garnered some attention from fans and critics. Still, the show is doing all it can to keep things fresh, even if that means inviting characters from other shows into Springfield.
