Have you noticed a bunch of your friends changing their Facebook profile pictures to a giraffe? If you have, then most of your friends can’t solve a simple riddle.
A Facebook riddle has been circulating around the social media site this week. The rules of the riddle state that those who can’t solve it have to change their profile photo to a giraffe. Those who can conquer the giraffe challenge, well, they just get a smug sense of satisfaction.
Here’s the riddle: “It’s 3am, the doorbell rings and you wake up. Unexpected visitors! It’s your parents and they are here for breakfast. You have strawberry jam, honey, wine, bread and cheese. What is the first thing you open?”
Facebook users are asked to send their answer to the question-poster in a message instead of a comment so they don’t spoil the fun for everyone else. If they get the answer wrong, the Facebook user is supposed to change their profile photo and post the riddle to a new group of people.
Apparently a lot of people have been bored this week because the challenge has been spreading quickly around Facebook.
