Prepare to have your Facebook posts overrun with troll faces and other memes. Facebook on Wednesday announced support for photo-based comments.
The new Facebook feature allows users to post a photo in response to the posts they read. Users can include text or simply throw up a photo to express their ideas.
Photo comments for FB arrive by way of an employee hackathon and the new system is slowly rolling out for both mobile and desktop users.
Here’s a look at the entire user flow for adding a photo comment to a Facebook post. Notice that all you need to do is click the camera button that now resides inside the “Write A Comment” section. After you click that icon you just choose the file to upload from your computer.
Will you be taking advantage of Facebook photo comments? The first person to reply with a troll message to my personal FB posts is banned for life!
they took it down just as fast as they put it up… me and my friends no longer see the camera icon anymore…but the pictures we uploaded are still there.
That's some BS that they took it down! I thought it was pretty cool.
