Facebook is making it easier for large businesses and advertisers to manage their campaigns with Business Manager, a free tool accessible from the “for Business” website.
At a quick glance, companies will be able to see all their Pages, permissions, apps, ad accounts and people or partners who have access to all of the above.
First hinted at in mid-March, Business Manager also allows you to manage permissions across all accounts or Pages, including the ability to add or delete ad accounts on the fly.
There’s a good chance we’ll hear more about the tool at F8 on April 30.
From the Facebook for Business blog:
“Business Manager is built to help advertisers work better and faster. With one click, admins can add new people to ad accounts and Pages, greatly reducing the time it takes to set up and manage marketing efforts. For employees and external partners, Business Manager makes it easy to find the things they’re working on.”
The tool can also be accessed via your personal account, preventing the need to be connected with business associates in order to gain access.
Facebook says Business Manager is currently only available to a limited number of US advertisers, and there are plans for international expansion “within a few weeks.”
