[Experience] Intel’s ‘Museum of Me’ Makes Your Facebook Account an Exhibit

It’s been proven that looking at our own Facebook profiles gives us a little ego-massage, with the carefully curated collection of individual content providing sometimes much-needed positive reinforcement.

Intel has a new “Museum of Me” web feature that pulls your data and creates a cute little distraction based on your friends, likes and information stored on the social network. A quick “gathering data” period, and you’re connected to a you-centric multimedia experience. It can’t really be saved or shared, but it makes for a nice little distraction from working on an Excel sheet and it’s a nice use of the data that you’ve got stored on Facebook.

Did you give the “Museum of Me” exhibit a spin? Isn’t it cool how it kind of captures that sound-quality that seems otherwise unique to museum exhibitions? Were you impressed?
