The official @TheAcademy Twitter account has announced that Emma Watson will present at the 86th Annual Academy Awards ceremony. The event will broadcast live on Sunday, March 2nd at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California.
The former Harry Potter star and recent graduate of Brown University in New York, has recently moved from England to New York City.
In an interview with Wonderland magazine, Watson said of her move, “I really wanted a new experience. I loved not knowing anyone. It felt very exciting, and I felt like I was striking out on my own in a very real, very new way. But there’s this thing called the Sophomore Slump, which is a phenomenon that is apparently known and recognized, though I had never heard of it. It caught me by surprise
Other already announced presenters for the 2014 Oscars include: Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Harrison Ford, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Angelina Jolie, Kevin Spacey, Channing Tatum, Benedict Cumberbatch and John Travolta.
