What a weekend. By now, most have heard about “The Fappening” – an event in which hundreds of nude photos of various celebrities were leaked online. Due to the amount of photos leaked and people affected, it was given the name “The Fappening.”
Some of the most talked about celebrities affected were Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst, Lea Michele, and Victoria Justice. MANY others were affected and this caused other celebrities to speak out and voice their opinion.
Lena Dunham, made famous by HBO’s GIRLS, hit the nail on the head focusing on the fact these photos are a private matter and the affected, now, have no choice with who sees them. Targeting those fans pissed off they can’t find the photos.
The way in which you share your body must be a CHOICE. Support these women and do not look at these pictures.

Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It's not okay.

Seriously, do not forget that the person who stole these pictures and leaked them is not a hacker: they're a sex offender.

Emma Watson, known friend to Jennifer Lawrence, defends her and the other ladies with her tweet:
Even worse than seeing women's privacy violated on social media is reading the accompanying comments that show such a lack of empathy.

Thank you, Emma and Lena, for highlighting the appropriate response to this occurrence. Meanwhile, other people on the internet are still like..

I guess Sex Tape, with Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz, has a new meaning behind the cloud.
