As news that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the second and surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings was shared around the social web, an image of the alleged capture and end of the manhunt began to circulate on Twitter — without attribution or confirmation the pic was genuine.
After nightfall and a tense 24 hours of searching, the successful capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was made after he was located hiding on a boat in Watertown.
Little is known about the capture, although it appears US Attorney Carmen Ortiz confirms Tsarnaev was not read Miranda Rights due to reasons supposedly pertaining to national security.
The suspect in custody is reportedly in serious condition, and the following image that reportedly was taken at the time of the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev shows a young man whose face is bloodied and looks a bit worse for wear:

Boston Police have not confirmed nor have they denied that the image is genuine.
