Ready for your daily dose of nostalgia? Disney’s Oh My Disney blog kicked off 90s nosalgia this week by recreating the Ducktales into with real ducks.
A message on the Oh My Disney blog reads: “We’re kicking off Disney Blogs ’90s week with a quack. One of our favorite Disney Afternoon tv shows in the ’90s was DuckTales. And one of the most memorable (and adored) parts of the show was it’s amazing theme song. Scrooge McDuck and Huey, Dewey, and Louie travel to outer space, under the sea, and to the pyramids. They’re chased by a mummy, hit in the face with pastry, and, course, surrounded by gold coins in a literal money bin. So, naturally, we thought we’d try to recreate all of this awesome with real ducks.”
But before we get to the real ducks, let’s check out the original animated intro from Ducktales.
That’s a pretty catchy tune. Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are also pretty adorable. But they really don’t compare to real life ducks.
Here’s the Oh My Disney blog’s modern masterpiece.
That’s a pretty solid start to 90s nostalgia week. You can head over to the Oh My Disney blog if you want to read more about cooties, Chip N’ Dale, and modern actors who voiced cartoon characters in the 90s.
