A fairly new Twitter account called Drawn Your Tweet (@DrawnYourTweet) is going viral, and it’s not surprising, given the amusing illustrations the author likes to send back tow Twitter users. The concept of the account is pretty simple: The anonymous user has set out to find random(ish) tweets, draw them, and return the finished piece to the original writer.
Since its first tweet on February 5, the account has amassed more than 9,000 followers, some of which came in the past day after information about the account was published in The Next Web and the Daily Dot. Since the first drawings were posted, Drawn Your Tweet has left amusement in its wake, and helped users find a little joy on the internet.

The account never responds after sending the photo, and the user hasn’t given an explanation for why he or she started the account. Other than drawings, the only other tweet posted came earlier on Sunday.
Wow, (ahem) quite a few new followers today. Thank you all! Going to need a bigger pen…

While there are only 20 drawings so far, we’re guessing the anonymous artist will have more out soon. Do you want to have your tweet drawn? The author explains that preference goes to “followers, celebrities, astronauts, pirates and small dogs. In that order.” Check it out here.
