Derrick Rose already lost out on the 2012-2013 season for a torn ACL in his right knee, so Bulls fans had cause to worry on Friday night when Rose left the fame after a non-contact injury in his right knee again. Later in the third quarters, Rose hurt his knee while attempting to plant and change direction.
Rose wasn’t able to put weight on the leg, so instead Bulls trainers helped him off the court and back to the locker room. The former MVP was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Saturday. Meanwhile, friends, fans, and fellow NBA players took to Twitter to express their support for Derrick Rose, writing:
I think every basketball fan in the world is waiting on Derrick Rose’s MRI results today. #PrayersforDRose

Anxiously awaiting the result of Derrick Rose’s MRI. My hopes are not high especially following the Marc Gasol news.

Whatever the results of Derrick Rose’s MRI are, we can be sure he will have the support of the NBA community while he recovers.
