Demi Lovato Makes Guinness Book Of World Records For… You’ve Gotta Be Kidding

demi lovato

Demi Lovato is a world record holder! The singer recently tweeted out a picture to brag about her amazing feat and her inclusion and the 2014 Guinness Book of World Records.

So what did Demi Lovato do to earn her place in the Guinness Book of World Records? Before we get to that, let’s talk about Guinness for a second. Guinness is a place that documents the amazing. From the world’s shortest person to the world’s largest bowl of chili. It’s a place for unbelievable accomplishments, ridiculous stunts and unique individuals who deserve global recognition.

Like this 86-year-old woman who still does gymnastics.

Or this dog that surfs.

Or this guy who holds the Guinness World Record for holding the most Guinness World Records.

So what did Demi Lovato do to earn her spot among the world’s elite? She… wait for it … is the youngest person to host The X Factor.

Are you kidding me? That is not a record. That is a casting decision.

Demi Lovato has a lot to be proud of. She’s a successful actor, a massively popular recording artist, and an inspiration to young women around the world. She’s also overcome personal issues like bulimia and has won awards for her charitable work in regard to mental health.

Demi deserves all of the success in the world. She does not, however, deserve a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for being a friends with Simon Cowell.
