Daniel Craig (Not In Drag This Time) Appears In New White House Sexual Assault PSA [Video]

The White House released a new sexual assault and rape PSA on Tuesday, and the viral video is absolutely packed with star power.

Daniel Craig, Benicio Del Toro, Steve Carell, Seth Meyers, Dulé Hill, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama appear in the clip, which was produced for the Obama administrations 1 is 2 Many campaign. The administration is leaning on colleges and universities to aggressively take on the issue of sexual assault and rape after the release of the first report from the White House Task Force to Protect Students From Sexual Assault, reports Mother Jones.

Biden said that every celebrity he called to participate in the PSA offered their assistance without hesitation. On his roll in the project, James Bond actor Daniel Craig said:

“I am honored to be part of such an important and crucial project. The message is clear and simple; everyone has a responsibility. There are no exceptions. There are no excuses. Please watch it and pass it on.”

MJ points out that Craig has often lent his star power to issues of gender inequality, sexual assault and violence against women. In 2011, he appeared (in drag) in a video for the 100th annual International Women’s Day.
