Crow Goes Sledding On A Mayonnaise Lid [Video]

Yes, that lonely bird appears to be sledding down the side of a roof on a lid.

Uploaded to YouTube in April of last year, this Russian video, titled “Crow rides on a mayonnaise lid,” is going viral yet again today on reddit. I have no idea how the people who took this video know that the lid is from a mayonnaise jar. Maybe they threw it out there themselves and then came back to check on it later, only to see this bird using it to toboggan down the side of their neighbor’s roof.

I also have no idea whether that bird is actually a crow. It doesn’t really look like one to me, but what do I know, I dropped my ornithology class.
