Colin Morgan (born 1 January 1986) is a British Film, Television, and Theater Actor. He is known as Merlin in the BBC fantasy TV series Merlin.

Biography of Colin Morgan
The actor entered the Integrated College Dungannon in 1997, where he became an involved theatre member, acting in many projects, such as ‘Surgical Sensations at St. Senapods’ and’ Bad Day at Black Frog Creek ‘.
Colin Morgan was noticed by theatre director Rufus Norris in 2007 who was very impressed by his talent. Norris gave him the titular role in ‘Vernon God Little’ when Morgan was still in the final year of college.
It was the first London West End professional theatre performance by Morgan and was very well received. Morgan’s role in the 2008 ‘A Prayer for My Baby’ Young Vic production received great acclaim. The same year, in the ‘Midnight’ episode of ‘Doctor Who, he played the troubled teen Jethro Cane. The next year, he played ‘Cry Babies’ on BBC Radio.
In 2013, Ariel’s character was tested in the play ‘The Tempest’. The play was so popular and profitable that it was not only seen on cinema screens but its DVD version was also released.
At about the same time, in the West End dark comedy ‘Mojo,’ Morgan lapped up the opportunity to play Skinny Luke.

I just now watched the show Merlin, and wanted to thank you for the laughs, all actors did a wonderful job and I enjoyed the show tremendously but you have a great talent for comedy aside from all other aspects required from acting. I haven’t laughed in years but your antics managed to make me do so.
Everyone involved with the show were absolutely wonderful. I wish everyone a healthy, happy and prosperous 2022 and again thanks for the laughs.
