Colin Kaepernick heated the flames of the girlfriend rumor mill this past weekend when he posted a picture of Sanna Lathan on his personal Instagram account.
Kaepernick, 25, and Sanaa Lathan, 42, appear to be out for dinner or drinks in the photo. The San Francisco 49ers QB has received more than 65,500 “likes” for the photo (pictured above).
Following his initial Instagram post Lathan put the same photo up on her Instagram account with the caption “xoxo.”
Lathan, a film and stage actress, who has appeared in Love Basketball,Alien Vs. Predator, and on the hit TV series Nip/Tuck, has yet to address the rumor.
We’re putting the breaks on stoking the rumor flames too much at this time. After all, Kaepernick early in the month was linked to U.S. Olympic soccer player Sydney Leroux. Colin Kaepernick was quick to shoot down any romantic involvement with Leroux but he has not spoken publicly about Sanaa Lathan at this time.
