Chvrches Cover Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” [Watch]


Chvrches surprised fans and definite future fans with an unlikely cover at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge studios Thursday morning with Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River.”

The Scottish electronic band has a past of covering pop songs including Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way” and Seal’s “Crazy.” This time, lead vocalist Lauren Mayberry took on the former *NSYC star’s vocals.

Chvrches are supposedly working on a new album, with a ton go new material lined up. They posted on their Facebook page on December 1 of last year, “Over 365 shows in two years and we’re going home. Work on album two starts in January.”
