Rumors that Chumlee of Pawn Stars is dead have been floating around lately, but no worries. Several sources immediately confirmed that Chum had been the victim of yet another celebrity death hoax, and if you need further proof he debunked the rumors himself on Twitter.
Chumlee (under his real name, Austin Russell) posted a bit of proof to his Twitter account on June 5:
RIP Austin “chumlee” Russell was a great man he will be missed.

I am Alive and kicking some times you can’t believe the hype — Austin Russell (@chumlee_) June 6, 2013
But Chumlee’s death hoax still hasn’t died down two days later, causing the Pawn Stars cast member to provide further proof that he is alive and kicking:

Chum’s death hoax started on The Internet Chronicle, which apparently completely fabricated a story about Chumlee being found dead by “Big Hoss” Harrison on Tuesday morning. The site listed the cause of death as marijuana overdose (that should have been your first clue).
Still it defended the questionable claim with the revelation that “(Chumlee was) rigged up to 90 vaporizers (filled) with the stickiest and most potent of marijuana available on the market.”
If you’re still worried that Chumlee of Pawn Stars is dead, hit the un-mute button on that Vine up top and listen to him scream “I’M ALIVE” over and over again.

STUPID!
I will never understand what people get out of starting a hoax that a celebrity has died…..
A marijuana overdose.. Ha ha,.. If anyone seriously believed that, they are exponentially more stupid than Chumlee.
So glad to hear Chumlee's not dead.
Attention.
