Chicken Fries Are Back! Burger King Fans Rejoice On Twitter

Chicken fries are back! After a two year hiatus Burger King is bringing back its chicken fries.

The fast food restaurant made the announcement on Twitter this morning.

Business Insider reports that Burger King introduced chicken fries back in 2005 but discontinued them a few years later in 2012. The little chicken strips, which came in the most ingenious fast food packaging of all time (remember that built in sauce cup?!) almost have McRib status in the BK community.

Needless to say, there was plenty of rejoicing on Twitter after Burger King made its announcement.

Burger King said that it made the announcement after seeing several tweets, Facebook pages, and petitions calling for chicken fries to make their return.
